Proposals
Creating and sending proposals
Build a proposal from your AI analysis, customize every field, share a link, and track its status, all without leaving FractionalWorkspace.
Creating a proposal from an opportunity
The fastest path to a proposal is through your pipeline. Open any opportunity that has an AI analysis, then click Create proposal → in the right sidebar.
The proposal form pre-fills from your analysis, including executive summary, scope, and recommended offer already drafted. Review and edit everything before saving.
Creating a blank proposal
Go to Proposals → + New Proposal to start from scratch. A linked opportunity will be created automatically in your pipeline at the "Proposal" stage, so your ops count always reflects reality.
Using the offer library
Click 📋 Pick from offer library above the Scope of Work section to pre-fill scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing from one of your saved offers. Edit anything after pre-filling.
If you haven't set up your offer library yet, you'll see a banner prompting you to do so. Go to Settings → Offer Library to load defaults or add your own.
Proposal sections
A proposal includes:
- Overview: executive summary of the engagement
- Scope of Work: what you'll do
- Deliverables: specific outputs, one per line
- Timeline: duration and phases
- Investment: phase names and pricing
- Terms: payment terms and conditions
- Next Steps: what happens after acceptance
Sharing with your client
From the proposal detail page, click Copy share link. This copies a unique URL that you can paste into any email or message to your client.
When you copy the link, the proposal status automatically updates to Sent. The client doesn't need an account to view it.
Tracking proposal status
Proposals move through these statuses:
- Draft: saved but not yet shared
- Sent: share link has been copied
- In Review: client has left a comment or question
- Negotiation: active back-and-forth happening
- Accepted: client has signed
- Declined: proposal was declined
